Oh Canada Cup III

For those unfamiliar with the Oh Canada Cup here is how it works:

1) We hold the tournament in one of the Canadian regional divisions. All other fighters (cooperation is asked of all Canadian managers) must be cleared out of that division during the tournament.
2) Everyone creates a new fighter and inserts him into the welterweight regional division on the day they are assigned. The scheduler will then make the matchups as it will throughout the tournament.
3) It's a double-knockout event meaning once you've suffered your second loss you're eliminated. This gives everyone a chance to have one bad fight and still remain in the tournament.
4) The winner is the last man standing or the highest rated fighter when no further fights can be made.
Fighters will have to have a name reflecting something obviously Canadian.
You don't have to have Canada or your manager's name in the title.

A staggered scheduler will get the tournament off to a start. To avoid a repeat of all the same first-round matchups as last year I'll assign certain fighters to unretire on certain days. You'll need to pay close attention to make sure you get in on the right day.
- Managers have voted in favour of holding this year's tourney in the welterweight division. We used cruiserweights and featherweights in past tourneys.
- drone fighters will be introduced if there is an odd number of fighters left in a week. That will insure all fighters get a fight each week.To that end we're asking for volunteers to submit a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 rated fighters in their stable (must be rating=status) which can be unretired and used as a drone fighter if necessary. We'll ask for those fighters at a later date.
Good luck to all!
Please read the letters to the editor section on a regular basis to stay up to date on tournament happenings!
